New Hard Rock Campaign

We’ve been working on a new campaign for the Seminole Hard Rock Casino Resorts in Florida. It uses their main differentiator, which is of course rock music and the Hard Rock attitude, to create an emotional connection with their target audience. The sweet-spot age of that target audience is about 55, so we designed this campaign to let them know there’s a badass place where they can still rock like they did back in the day.

We’re still working on a few new versions, but below you can check out the first radio and TV we released. Well, one of the TV spots is the first we released, but the other is a version of that spot that didn’t make it out the door. It has a different type treatment, a few different photos and no voiceover. Which one do you like better?

Tools of the Trade

New Table Mountain Campaign

Here are a few of the final spots from our new campaign for Table Mountain Casino. Shot on the Phantom HD in super slow motion to capture the pure, raw, real emotion people experience when they win big–that childlike wonderment adults rarely allow themselves to feel or show. Same old strategy. New take and execution. The Winning(TM) is just a way to say they’re the market leader when it comes to what’s important from a locals’ casino. In Fresno, they own winning. The last video is a little special sauce called “Larry Lester’s Buns.” It’s a compilation of all the out-takes we put together for web use.

Phantastish

The director, Richard Yelland (Abe Froman Productions), showing Charlie, the talent, his audition on an iPhone. Looks like technology hasn't just made kids lazy.
Here are a few shots from our latest shoot for Table Mountain Casino. We shot on the Phantom HD camera at anywhere from 400 to 800 frames per second to capture super slow-mo emotional celebrations. The camera’s technology is amazing, and when you combine that technology with some incredible acting, shooting, lighting and directing, it makes for some really gripping footage and one of my favorite casino shoots ever (which is the only reason three 12-hour overnight shoots in a row is even remotely tolerable).
