Ok, I was a little skeptical about going all the way to Sacramento to see New Kids on the Block. First off, they’re sure aren’t kids any more and I wasn’t even a fan back in the day. But, being a good friend, I said I’d go with Lacey to see them. (Also didn’t hurt that the tickets were FREE!)

When we got to Arco for the meet-and-greet, I honestly thought Lacey was going to pass out – she was so excited. I didn’t really get it. They’re the New Kids! From the 80s. What’s up with that… So, I stood by and took her photo as she meet, Danny, Jordan and Joey. Then, after we meet the “kids”, they did a sound check. That’s when I knew it was going to be a good concert – their band was amazing.

And it was! If you haven’t heard NKOTB’s new album, The Block – you should. 

Yes, they did all their old dances. Yes, it was all people our age. Yes, there were some guys there (most dragged by their girl friends). Yes, bras were being thrown to them (HA! One of them hit Jordan in the head! LOL!). And yes, I heart the 80s once more.
